The Westman Volleyball Club won gold at the Virden 14U girls club volleyball tournament on the weekend.
Westman beat the Prairie Fire Ignite 25-17, 25-18 in the championship final as Brynn Pedlow had eight kills and Kaylynn Collyer served up five aces. Westman defeated the host Virden team 2-1 in the semifinals, winning 15-5 in the decisive set, after beating the ACC Cougars club team 2-0 in the quarter-finals.
