Three of the four Westman players who entered the Golf Manitoba match-play qualifier in Teulon made the cut.

Glenboro native Josh Wytinck, who will captain the University of Manitoba Bisons golf team at the Canadian University/College Golf Championship which starts Tuesday, shot an even-par 144 in the 36 hole event to finish second behind Aaron Cockerill by three strokes.

Dauphin’s Trevor Fox posted a 145 to finish in a tie for third, while Brandon’s Mark Tokle placed in a tie for 28th with a two-round total of 158. Dauphin’s Connor Shaw posted a 166 and missed the cut by seven strokes.

Wytinck, Fox and Tokle advance to the match play matches, which run from Saturday through June 15 at Winnipeg’s Bel Acres Golf and Country Club.
