Westman golfers well back at seniors

Brandon’s Rod Klassen is the leading Westman competitor heading into today’s final round of the provincial senior men’s golf championship at the Larters at St. Andrews Golf and Country Club.

The Clear Lake member shot an 8-over-par 78 on Tuesday to sit at 160. Tied for 27th place, Klassen is well back of leader Barry Minish of Niakwa, who followed up an opening 68 with a round of 73 yesterday for a 1-over total of 141.

Bill Moslenko (80-82—162) is in 29th place, while fellow Killarney golfer Bob Chapman (86-83—169) is in 35th. Clear Lake’s Keith Fawcett (89-82—171) is tied for 36th.
