The Westman Rangers under-14 boys soccer team just missed out on a provincial title.
The Ranger gave up a goal at the end of the first half of extra time as they fell 2-1 to South End United in the Winnipeg Youth Soccer Association’s league final on Sunday in Winnipeg.
Michael Olive scored for Westman. Lane Tufts, the team’s keeper, was named player of the game.
