Clark Whelpton scored three times to lead the Vincent Massey Vikings to a 7-3 victory over the Killarney/Wawanesa Raiders in the Westman High School Hockey League on Wednesday night.
In other Wednesday action, it was: Neepawa Tigers 9, Melita/Waskada Devils 1; Major Pratt Trojans 7, Hamiota Huskies 3; and Deloraine/Hartney Colts 3, Souris/Reston Sabres 2 (OT).
At Killarney, Bradley Schoonbaert had a goal and three assists, Troy Heywood scored a goal and set up two others, while Reid Hunter had a goal and an assist for the Vikings (8-5-0). Kirk Dechka rounded out the Vincent Massey scoring.
Tanner Pugh, Paul Ross and Morgan Magwood replied for the Raiders (4-11-1).
Tigers 9 Devils 1
In Neepawa, Matthew Sneesby scored three times as the league-leading Tigers improved to 15-0-0 on the season. Garett Rempel and Brendan Harris both scored twice while Wyatt Salmon and Braedon Mitchell added singles for Neepawa. Blair Brigden replied with the lone goal for Melita/Waskada (5-11-1).
Trojans 7 Huskies 2
In Russell, Bret Nahirniak and Jory Dunn both scored twice to lead Major Pratt (12-2-0), while Luke Keating, David Dunn and Brayden Cullum each scored once. Logan Clark and Jonathon Shurvell replied with the goals for Hamiota (0-15).
