The Westman Wildcats have a 2-0 lead in their best-of-five Manitoba Female Midget Hockey League playoff series.
Kaitlyn Whaley, Karissa Kirkup, Amanda Coey, Jessica Vallotton and Karissa Haney all scored on Sunday as Westman beat the host Winnipeg Ice 5-1 in Game 2. Kristen Campbell made 17 saves as the Wildcats shut out the Ice 6-0 in the series opener Saturday in Hartney. Kirkup, Coey, Vallotton, Jossa Danis, Samantha Dyck and Jaycee Magwood scored for Westman. Game 3 will be played on Friday in Hartney at 7 p.m.
