Robert Wishart scored the game-winning goal midway through the third period for the Major Pratt Trojans on Saturday in Russell as they topped the visiting Neepawa Natives 6-5 in the Westman High School Hockey League.
Jordan Furman netted a pair of markers for the Trojans (6-1-0), while Landyn Cameron, Brayden Cullum and David Dunn all added a goal and an assist.
Garett Rempel led the Neepawa attack with two goals and an assist. Wyatt Salmon added a goal and two helpers for the Tigers (7-4-0), who scored four straight goals in the second period before giving up the game’s final two in the third frame. Blair Krutkewich and Bryson Kaye also found the back of the net for Neepawa.
