Workman gets Win, 3 RBIs

Ty Workman drove in three runs and was the winning pitcher as the Boissevain Centennials beat the visiting Souris Cardinals 7-3 Sunday in the South West Baseball League.

Workman gave up only four hits and struck out nine in a complete game. Only one Souris run was earned. At the plate, he went 2-for-3. Landon White doubled and drove in a run for the Cardinals.

Later, Boissevain pitcher Junior Brake and Hartney hurler Mark Derlago both pitched seven-hitters in a game that went three extra innings as the Centennials tied the Hoppers 1-1.
