Wytinck makes move

The Manitoba Bisons, including Glenboro’s Josh Wytinck, gained full possession of third place in the Canadian university and college golf championships after the second round of play at Winnipeg’s Southwood Golf and Country Club on Wednesday.

The U of M posted a team score of 287 and sits at 4 over par, one stroke behind the Western Mustangs and 10 behind the UBC Thunderbirds.

Wytinck shot a 1-under-par 71 on Wednesday to move into a tie for 10th place individually with a two-round total of 145. Dylan Thornborough, who’s also from Glenboro and is a member of the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns, sits in a tie for 69th at 13 over par.

Scott Secord of UBC tops the men’s singles competition with a two-round total of 133.
