Josh Wytinck wrapped up his most successful season with Golf Manitoba’s top award on Monday night.

The Glenboro native, who plays for the University of Manitoba Bisons golf team, was named Manitoba’s amateur golfer of the year at the year-end awards dinner in Winnipeg. Wytinck was the first player from southwestern Manitoba to win the Manitoba Men’s Amateur golf championship and also helped lead the Bisons to five top-five finishes in university action this season while serving as team captain.

Wytinck topped a field of finalists that included Breezy Bend’s Garth Collings, Charlie Boyechko of Southwood and Jenna Roadley of Glendale.
