Glenboro’s Josh Wytinck is one of four finalists for Golf Manitoba’s male golfer of the year award for the second straight year.
The 22-year-old, who won the award in 2012, has had another solid season. Wytinck, who plays out of Winnipeg’s Pine Ridge Golf Club, reached the semifinals in the Manitoba match play championship and finished fourth at the men’s amateur in Neepawa and at a national amateur invitational tournament. He also placed 21st at the Canadian university championship, in which he was representing the University of Manitoba, and was 41st at the Canadian men’s amateur. Wytinck won three university events and set a new Bisons team record with a fall scoring average of 71.8.
