Wytinck up for golfer of the year award

Former Glenboro native Josh Wytinck is one of four finalists for Golf Manitoba’s Amateur Golfer of the Year award.

Wytinck, the captain of the University of Manitoba Bisons golf team, won the Manitoba Nott Autocorp Men’s Amateur Championship in a four-person playoff this summer, made the cut for the Canadian Tour Players Cup in Winnipeg, and tied for 32nd at the Canadian university championship. Wytinck, a Pine Ridge Golf Club member, also had five top-five finishes in university events this season and led the Bisons to five team victories.

Wytinck is up against Garth Collings of Breezy Bend, Charlie Boyechko of Southwood and Jenna Roadley of Glendale.
