Yellowhead midget girls sweep

The Yellowhead Chiefs opened their Manitoba Female Midget Hockey League season with a pair of wins over the NorMan Wild in The Pas on the weekend.

Hayley Cathcart, Jalin Adams, Hannah Foulliard and Jalyn Elmes all scored for Yellowhead in its 4-1 victory on Saturday night. Tirra Lemoine paced the Chiefs with two goals in their 4-2 victory on Sunday, with Tashel Scantlebury and Elmes adding singles.
