Neepawa’s Logan Young was the only Westman runner to earn a medal during the provincial high school cross-country championships at Spruce Woods Provincial Park on Wednesday afternoon.
Young placed third in the junior varsity boys event. He finished behind Egide Ndayirukiye from Winnipeg’s St. John’s High School and Carman’s Jay Ort, the division champion.
No Westman schools medalled in the team competition.
