Sangakkara, Chandimal hit centuries as Sri Lanka takes 54-run lead against Bangladesh

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka - Kumar Sangakkara hit his third straight test century while Dinesh Chandimal scored his second as the pair led Sri Lanka back from a slump in the second test against Bangladesh on Sunday.

The hosts were 294-6 at stumps on the second day, leading by 54 runs after being reduced to 69-4 in the morning session.

Sangakkara was unbeaten on 127 following his scores of 142 and 105 in both innings of the first test in Galle last week. Chandimal was out for 102.

Seamers Rubel Hossain and Robiul Islam took two wickets each.
