South Africa wins toss, elects to bat against Pakistan in 2nd ODI holding 1-0 lead in series

CENTURION, South Africa - South Africa captain AB de Villiers won the toss and elected to bat first in the second one-day international against Pakistan on Friday.

Fast bowler Dale Steyn replaced Rory Kleinveldt, who missed out despite taking four wickets last Sunday as South Africa won by 125 runs to lead 1-0 in the five-match series.

Pakistan strengthened its bowling after going in with only two pacemen on Sunday, forcing batsman Asad Shafiq to make way for 2.16-meter (7-foot-1) quick Mohammad Irfan.

De Villiers says it's a big series for South Africa and "we would like to come on top."
