Food services operator A&W pays special 10 cent a unit distribution

VANCOUVER, B.C. - A&W Revenue Royalties Income Fund (TSX:AW.UN), says it will pay a special distribution to unitholders of 10 cents a trust unit on Nov. 30. In addition, the restaurant company said Tuesday it will pay a regular monthly cash distribution of 10.6 cents per unit for October, also payable Nov. 30.

The fund gets royalties from A&W Food Services of Canada Inc. of about three per cent of the sales of 685 A&W restaurants that operate across Canada.

A&W is the second largest quick-service hamburger restaurant chain in the country.

In trading Tuesday, the fund's units fell five cents to $14.60.
