I had an amazing time entertaining at the Canad Inns on New Year’s Eve with my band, Misty Street.

It was cold outside but warm inside with delicious food, cool drinks, beautiful decorations, party favours, and friendly faces.

We kicked off our first set with a cover of "Lets Go Crazy" by Prince and closed off the night with a cover of Journey's "Don't Stop Believing."

We played some Top 40, some hits of the ’80s and ’90s, some originals and even threw in some Etta James (she is one of my personal favourites).

Kudos to the professional and friendly Canad Inns staff, who did a stellar job. It was a wonderful way to say goodbye to 2013 and hello to 2014.

If you want to see where Misty Street is playing next, check out the band’s website: mistystreet.com
