The dinner is held every year and billed as an opportunity to gather with co-workers, friends and fellow professionals for an elegant, yet light-hearted, evening.

I had an opportunity to shake hands and have a brief chat with the new general manager of the Provincial Exhibition, Rob O'Connor. He brings his experience as show manager for Canada's Farm Progress Show in Regina. He has taken over from the long-serving Karen Oliver.

It was an elegant evening of superb cuisine and an exciting silent and live Auction. Entertainment was provided by Johnny Vallis, the Man of Many Voices.

The Platinum Sponsor for this event was the Victoria Inn. For more information: brandonfairs.com
