Hey there, time traveller!

For the second time this season, the Manitoba Youth Challenge Provincial Championship was postponed due to Manitoba highway closures.

The new date for the event is Feb. 2 at Mosienko Lanes in Winnipeg. Hopefully third time will be the charm for this group of very anxious kids!

Highway closures also forced the postponement of two Westman 220 Zone Qualifying Shifts, which have been rescheduled and we hope we will be able to report on that next week.

Manitoba Masters held their third Tournament Division event Jan. 13 at Rossmere Lanes in Winnipeg. Brandon’s Garry Hamm continues his great season, finishing fourth in the event with an eight-game total of 2159 (270 avg).

January is once again Knockdown Cancer month at Thunderbird Bowl. Come on out to the lanes with the family and try out the pink bowling shoes, all for a great cause of fighting a far-too-common disease. Cancer has touched many of our lives, so come throw a ball in helping us ‘knock it down’ for good.

Good luck and good bowling everyone!
