• 40 YEARS AGO Carol Grant was perfect in goal as Fred’s Dry Cleaners downed host Shilo 4-0 in a Brandon Women’s Broomball League game. Lisa Maluga, Patty Buckman, Dawn Holder and Jill Richards were the goal scorers.

• 30 YEARS AGO Keith Vassell established a new school record with 52 points to power the Brandon University Bobcats men’s basketball team to a 107-103 overtime win over the Minot State Beavers.

• 10 YEARS AGO — Alyssa Montgomery scored 20 points and grabbed eight boards to lead the Brandon University Bobcats to their first win of the Canada West conference women’s basketball season in Lethbridge.
