The provincial government is asking people to fill out a survey to share their priorities for next year’s budget.
The online survey is open until Feb. 21 and can be found at engagemb.ca/budget-2026.
Along with the survey, people can participate in several town halls planned across the province, including one in Brandon on Feb. 12.

The online survey requires people to create an account on the government’s website. It includes questions about how important specific priorities — such as health care, education, cost of living and climate change — are to respondents. It also requires people to fill out questions about their demographics, including income, employment and race.
Adrien Sala, the province’s finance minister, said the NDP government is working to improve health care while keeping costs low and balancing the budget in the face of tariffs.
“Over the last two years, we’ve made good progress on your priorities. Now, we want to build on that work, starting by hearing directly from you,” Sala said in a press release on Thursday.
Other town halls include Winnipeg on Feb. 10, Flin Flon on Feb. 19, Gimli on Feb. 26, and telephone town halls on Feb. 11 and 17.
The 2026 budget is set to be released in the spring.
