The 2nd Battalion, Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry based at CFB Shilo has a new commanding officer.

Lt.-Col. Pat Brown assumed command of the unit at a ceremony on Monday.

Brown’s last posting was in Vancouver, where he was the chief of staff for 39 Canadian Brigade Group. He takes over from outgoing commanding officer Lt.-Col. Chelsea Braybrook.

Braybrook’s next posting is to the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College in Fort Leavenworth, Kan.
