High water closes Eastern Access

Highway 110, from the Trans-Canada Highway to Richmond Avenue, is closed this morning due to water on the road.

The City of Brandon made the announcement in a press release at 7:44 a.m. Sunday morning. Just last night before Saturday night's heavy storm rolled through western Manitoba, the province had announced that the Eastern Access Route was to reopen Saturday night at 9 p.m.

The City will be holding another media briefing this morning at 10 a.m. to update the flood situation.
