GRAEME BRUCE / BRANDON SUN

Flames were visible from the roof of this McDonald Avenue home Sunday morning. An electrical fault is being blamed for the fire, which firefighters were able to put out.

Investigators say that it was an electrical problem in the attic that sparked a Sunday morning house fire.

Flames were visible from the roof when firefighters arrived at the house, in the 2100-block of McDonald Avenue, at about 7:30 a.m. No injuries were reported and the blaze was brought under control and extinguished.

No damage estimate was given.
