From Friday through Monday, Brandon police responded to nearly 300 calls and collared at least 15 people for various minor offences.
They said Monday morning that there had been about 285 calls for police service since the Friday morning previous.
Through the three days, they made at least six arrests for people who were breaching the peace and another six who were arrested for being drunk in public.
One of those intoxicated people was a 43-year-old man found passed out on a lawn in the 500-block of Louise Avenue just past 6:20 p.m. on Sunday evening.
Another was a 34-year-old man who showed up at the police station drunk and confused at about 10 p.m. on Sunday, saying he had nowhere to go.
Also over the weekend, two people were collared on outstanding warrants, one person was taken to hospital for an examination under the Mental Health Act, and five youths were reported as runaways from two local group homes.
