For the second time in a week, a suspicious male has been spotted near a school in Brandon.
At around 12:15 p.m Tuesday, a female Grade 5 student reported that a male subject had followed her, as she returned to King George School after lunch break, city police said in a release.
The girl noticed the man behind her as she walked eastward along Princess Avenue East from Frederick Street and he continued to follow her south on Park Street, before turning west on Victoria Avenue.
No contact was made, so it is unknown what the subject’s real intentions were.
The man was described as being more than 30 years old, with a moustache.
Half of his hair appeared dark and the other half was possibly dyed white.
He was said to be wearing a black jacket, with worn out blue jeans and had a black scarf covering his mouth.
In what appears to be an unrelated incident, given the physical description of the suspects, on Oct. 30 a suspicious male was reported lurking about Earl Oxford School over the lunch hour, asking students to "help him with research," police said at the time
It is still unknown what his exact intentions were.
He was asked to leave the property by staff.
The suspect in that incident is described as an older man, about 50 years of age, 5-foot-10, with light grey facial hair and larger glasses.
