Urgent ward meeting set for tonight

The City of Brandon is holding an urgent joint ward meeting at 5:30 p.m. for residents living in the Assiniboine, Rosser and University wards.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the rising Assiniboine River and impact of recent overland flooding.

Members of administration including Brian Kayes, the city’s emergency coordinator will be in attendance to answer questions.

The meeting is being held at at the Riverbank Discovery Centre.
