BRANDON UNIVERSITY
• Brandon University hosts an open house for prospective students from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Everyone is welcome to the come-and-go event. More information can be found at BrandonU.ca/Open-House.
• Métis roots/rock musician Michell Makoons performs and speaks at BU on Friday, in celebration of Manitoba Day. Presented by the Manitoba Métis Federation, Makoons’ appearance will take place at 12:30 p.m., in the Mingling Area of the Knowles-Douglas Students’ Union Centre.
• Brandon University’s convocation ceremonies take place June 1 and 2 at the Healthy Living Centre. There will be four ceremonies, with science and music graduates receiving their degrees at 10 a.m. June 1, followed by education at 2 p.m. On June 2, health studies will be up first, at 10 a.m., followed by arts at 2 p.m.
• Registration is open for Mini University. Weekly day camps, for children from kindergarten to Grade 8, take place from July 4 to Aug. 25. More information is available at MiniU.BrandonU.ca. Bobcat basketball and volleyball summer camps take place from July 31 to Sept. 1. Camps are available for youth from grades 4 to 12. More information can be found at GoBobcats.ca.
