Of the 494 new cases of COVID-19 identified as of Sunday morning, 34 were in Prairie Mountain Health.
More than half (266) were in the Winnipeg region, followed by 136 in Southern Health-Santé Sud, 30 in Northern and 28 in Interlake-Eastern.
It was another deadly day for coronavirus reporting, with 10 deaths noted in a provincial release ranging from Nov. 3 to 14.
These included the following people from Winnipeg:
• A woman in her 80s.
• A man in his 100s linked to the Seine River Retirement Residence cluster.
• Seven people related to the Maples Long Term Care Home, including a woman in her 80s, two men in their 80s, two women in their 90s and two men in their 90s.
A woman in her 70s from Southern Health also died.
The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 12.4 per cent provincially and 13.1 per cent in Winnipeg.
The total number of deaths in Manitoba thus far in the pandemic is now 162.
There are 6,715 active cases of the virus in Manitoba, of which 196 are in Prairie Mountain Health.
There are 220 people in hospital with COVID-19, of whom 41 are in intensive care. Of those in hospital, three are in Prairie Mountain Health, where there are two people in intensive care.
