The Grandview Health Centre is temporarily suspending hospital and emergency services until further notice effective today at 8 a.m.
According to a post on Prairie Mountain Health's website, the suspension is being done to allow for resources and staff to be allocated to the Grandview Personal Care Home during its ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.
Despite the suspension, ambulance services will still be offered to the community by calling 911 for urgent or emergency medical needs. Residents calling 911 will be taken to the nearest open emergency room.
Grandview lies roughly halfway between Roblin and Dauphin on Highway 5 north of Riding Mountain National Park.
