Fourteen more people have died from COVID-19, the province announced Thursday.
This brings the total fatalities from the virus in Manitoba to 1,538.
There are 711 people hospitalized due to COVID, a drop from 720 patients on Wednesday.
Active hospital cases are also down: 594 Thursday compared to 655 on Wednesday. However, intensive care numbers went up from 49 to 51 on Thursday and active cases remained at 44.
Manitoba added 582 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, bringing the active case count to 28,951. However, health officials have previously stated that not all cases are being recorded. Only results from supervised rapid antigen tests and PCR tests are being recorded and the actual number of cases is likely much higher.
The five-day test positivity rate for the province is 30.6 per cent.
In terms of vaccines, 85.5 per cent of eligible Manitobans have received one dose of the vaccine, 79.1 per cent are considered fully vaccinated with two doses and 39.2 per cent have had three doses.
