Police arrested a man on Sunday for allegedly shooting a firearm out of a truck in the east end earlier this month.
On April 17, police received a report that a man was shooting a rifle out of a truck in the area of Park Avenue East and 17th Street East.
The suspect was located and police learned the suspect was shooting at gophers with a high-powered pellet gun.
The pellet gun was seized by police, who also learned the man was on a prohibition order not to possess any firearms.
On Sunday evening, the 49-year-old man was arrested for possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order. He was released to appear in court in July.
