Two charged after traffic stop

Two people are facing multiple charges after an early Tuesday morning traffic stop.
At approximately 4:45 a.m., police stopped an unregistered vehicle in the 800 block of Lorne Avenue. The driver was allegedly breaching a probation order and a passenger was breaking a condition of her undertaking.
Both people were arrested and police allegedly found a quantity of methamphetamine on the female passenger during a search, as well as cash and drug-trafficking paraphernalia. Police also found a stun gun in the vehicle.
The 21-year-old Brandon man driving the vehicle was charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order and breach of probation.
The 20-year-old Brandon woman riding in the vehicle was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking meth, possession of a prohibited weapon and breach of undertaking.
Both people are scheduled to appear in court in November.
