Police are investigating after an electric bicycle was stolen on Wednesday afternoon.

The bike was taken from the 1000 block of 18th Street sometime before 4 p.m.

Police say it is a black mountain bike with large black batteries near the seat. There are front and back fenders with a 10-inch pegboard box on the rest behind the seat.

The bike is worth approximately $2,000, according to police.
