Local yoga studio Luna Muna held its first Caturday kitten yoga class on Saturday for members of the Female U13 AA Wheat Kings.

Luna Muna owner Chelsea McCrimmon had four kittens from the Brandon Humane Society on hand for the session that was filled with cat poses.

Players from the Female U13 AA Wheat Kings cuddled with the curious kittens while practising their poses. They also dropped off donations for the Brandon Humane Society that they had collected before Christmas.

Throughout the class, the kittens roamed the studio exploring, playing and vying for attention from the team members.

McCrimmon, who has been teaching yoga since 2014, is holding another Caturday on Feb. 11 with three sold-out public kitten yoga classes and is booking a few private sessions for the day as well for groups of five to nine people. Fees for the classes on Feb. 11 are donation-based and will go to the Brandon Humane Society.
