The Brandon woman killed in a Friday car collision in the RM of Sifton is being fondly remembered by coworkers.
Alexandra LaFontaine, age 25, died when her car collided with a semi-trailer.
In a Facebook post from Saturday made by her employer, the Sobeys at Shoppers Mall, the store said that the meat department employee was "responsible, meticulous and passionate about what she did with Sobeys for the past eight years."
LaFontaine was also described as having an "infectious personality" and an "incredible sense of humour".
As of late Monday morning, there were more than 100 comments offering condolences on the Facebook post made by friends, coworkers and customers.
"Alex was not only my employee, she was a dear friend," the Sobeys account commented. "I loved her like a sister and will never forget the good times we had."
Additionally, more than 200 people shared the post and more than 500 people reacted to it.
