FORREST — Spectators gathered in Forrest to watch a more than 50-year-old grain elevator be demolished.
A bobcat tore down the building, which had "Forrest Co-operative Elevator Association Pool No. 35" printed on the side, on Thursday morning.
The annex of the grain elevator, built in 1956, was removed first.The original house section, built in 1927, will be demolished some time in the coming weeks.
