Emergency personnel are still investigating the cause of a devastating fire that consumed much of a condominium building on Pacific Avenue Tuesday night.
Though the fire has been extinguished, Brandon Police Service reported Wednesday morning that authorities are still working to figure out if the residents of all 48 units are safe and accounted for.
Once safety concerns have been assessed, fire inspectors will begin to investigate the source of the blaze.
Pacific Avenue is blocked off to motorists and pedestrians as work continues and BPS asks that residents avoid the area if possible.
Though residents of nearby buildings were evacuated as a precaution, no other structures received damage.
