COVID-19 outbreaks have been declared at the Russell Health Centre in Russell and Lions Prairie Manor Personal Care Home in Portage la Prairie.
The province announced three new COVID-related deaths and 183 new cases of the virus Saturday.
The dead include a man in his 60s from the Northern health region, a man in his 80s from the Winnipeg health region and a man in his 80s from the Winnipeg health region linked to the outbreak at the Health Sciences Centre GD4.
New cases include 127 in the Winnipeg health region, followed by 24 in Northern, 13 in Southern Health-Santé Sud, 12 in Prairie Mountain Health and seven in Interlake-Eastern.
There are currently 86 active cases in Prairie Mountain Health.
In addition to the Russell Health Centre, current outbreaks in the health region also include Fairview Personal Care Home in Brandon, Boissevain Health Centre and Evergreen Place Personal Care Home in Boissevain and Boissevain School, which has shifted to remote learning.
The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 5.3 per cent provincially and 5.4 per cent in Winnipeg.
