The Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation made its draws in the "A Sense of Home Lottery" Tuesday afternoon in the atrium of the hospital.
Debbie Parrott was the grand prize winner, winning her choice of $50,000 or a 2012 Cadillac SRX and $1,000 in Hi-Way Esso gas cards.
A.E. Lang took home the second prize of $10,000.
The $1,000 prize winners were David Mazier, Arnold Palisniuk, Marianne Whyte, Jack Fraser, Cecil Ralph, Ed and Patti Paull, Elsie McNish, Fletch Manning, Shirley Armstrong and Claire Feuillatre. Early bird winners, who also picked up $1,000, were Betty Cairns, Fran McGorman and Bud Townsend, Bonnie Nunn, Bruce and Carol Delgarno and Betty and Cathy Berg.
The lottery helps fund the home away from home project that will build a residence to ensure cancer patients travelling to Brandon for treatment feel at home. The residence will also help offset cost associated with treatment in Brandon.
