BU prof's book explores the experience of Filipinos in Canada

Hilary Clapp was one of the first Filipinos to come to Canada. Clapp was an Igorot youth; and his conversion to Christianity marked a turning point in Episcopalian missionary work and also in Canadian history. It is said that prior to Clapp’s conversion; no Igorot child had been attracted to Christianity.
