STARS ambulance airlifted a 40-year-old Brandon woman to the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre after being run over on Highway 10 Friday morning.
A spokesperson for STARS said the woman was first brought to the Boissevain Hospital by local first responders in serious condition.
RCMP Const. Wayne Goetz said the woman was run over by her own car when she got out to adjust something. He said the vehicle continued to roll and the woman was found by a passerby.
Since the collision, she has been upgraded to stable condition.
RCMP are still investigating.
