Crosswalk safety
Brandon, please do better with the pedestrian crosswalks! Especially now that it gets dark so early. Can they all have the solar setup like on Sixth and Queens Avenue?
Convoy
You have got to be kidding! There was nothing unlawful about this rally for freedom. There was no need for the invocation of the Emergencies Act because, well, there was no need — just as the inquiry is showing. You are obviously not listening to nor reading the daily report/recap.
Support for seniors
I have read the CBC, CTV and Global summaries of Freeland’s mini budget, financial update delivered Thursday. Not one include the word “seniors” for any new programs or changes to CPP or OAS. I guess the message is, we collected thousands of tax dollars from you over the years and now that you are retired, you figure it out for yourself as the government is only concerned with workers and students.
Lockdowns
Kudos to the teachers and school staff at Crocus Plains and Maryland Park for their role in handling the lockdowns experienced by both schools on Tuesday. Here’s hoping those teachers and students will receive the emotional support needed after such a heightened, tense situation.
Adjustments needed
Can the crosswalk between the hospital and the Brandon Clinic be adjusted? I mean, it goes right into the sidewalk curb and the entrance to the clinic parking lot is not in the best location. If cars would be going slower also, can it be like a school zone (30 km/h)?
