Alyanna Gungon scored 13 points as the Crocus Plainsmen downed the Vincent Massey Vikings 48-35 in Brandon High School Basketball League varsity girls’ action on Tuesday.
Rylee Wiebe dropped 12 points for Crocus, with Alanah Gushulak adding 10.
Ryan De Groot had a game-high 16 points for Massey.
The boys’ game was still in progress at press time.
On Monday, the Plainsmen JV girls beat the Vikings 27-20. Grace More-Clark had six points for Crocus, while Saphiya Devieger notched eight for Massey.
Callum Brosseau posted 21 to power the Vikings boys to an 86-33 victory in the late game. Victor Aderemi-Fawoye scored 13 for the Plainsmen.
