The Neelin Spartans took advantage of their final chance to reach the varsity girls’ AAA basketball provincial championship.
After losing two qualifying games on Saturday, the Spartans beat Winkler’s Garden Valley Zodiacs 57-35 in Glenboro on Wednesday to claim the final spot.
Dani Black led Neelin with 19 points while Kruz Wilson posted 13.
The Spartans head to Thompson for the tournament March 16-18.
