Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame inductee Dale Hunter, 59, died on Monday.
The Nesbitt product played 21 years with the Riverside Canucks in the Manitoba Senior Baseball League, caputuring six championships and three provincial titles.
Hunter was rookie of the year in 1978, a two-time batting champ, eight-time RBI leader and eight-time home run leader, capturing the MVP trophy in 1990.
He entered the Baseball Manitoba Hall in 2008.
Hunter also got involved in the game as an umpire.
