Jared Ross scored three tries as the Souris Sabres cruised past the Crocus Plainsmen 43-7 in their Westman High School Rugby boys semifinal in Souris on Tuesday.

Shaine Murphy added two tries and four converts for the Sabres while Duncan Punay and Austin Gordon each touched the ball down once.

Diego Leon scored the Crocus try with Treyson Rowan kicking the convert.

Dauphin and Swan Valley meet in today’s second semifinal at 6:30 p.m., with Souris meeting the winner on June 5. Souris hosts unless top-seeded Dauphin wins.

In the girls semifinals, the Tigers also visit the Clippers at 5:30 p.m., after No. 1 seed Rivers hosts Souris at 3:30 p.m.
