Five Bobcats players scored in double figures and the Brandon University men's basketball team snapped a four-game losing streak with a 77-70 win over the host Calgary Dinos in Canada West conference action late Friday night.
The Bobcats (3-4) got 15 points and six rebounds from guard O'Brian Wallace, 13 points and seven rebounds from Kyrie Coleman, 12 and six from Isaiah James, 11 points from Jordan Reaves and another 10 from Kyle Vince.
Calgary (3-4) was denied in its quest to win back-to-back games for the first time this season. Dustin Reding lead the Dinos with 16 points and Tyler Fidler had 10 points and 15 rebounds.
On Saturday night, the Bobcat women lost their eighth straight game, losing 99-43 to the Dinos, the seventh straight game they've lost by at least 39 points. Katie Van De Sype had 14 points to lead the Bobcats (0-8) while freshman Madison Bradbury added 12.
