QUÉBEC – Andreas Straka scored the game-winning goal at 13:21 of the third period to lift the Quebec City Remparts past the Val-d’Or Foreurs 5-4 on Wednesday in Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League.
Xavier Lebel, Maddox Dagenais, Charles-Antoine Dubé and Mathias Loiselle provided the rest of the offence for Quebec City (7-9-1). Patrick Deniger made 28 saves.
Maxime Coursol, Jordan Labelle, Philippe Veilleux and Mathias Bourque scored for Val-d’Or (7-7-1-2). Émile Beaunoyer stopped 20 shots.
After opening the game with a 2-0 lead, the Remparts found themselves down 4-3 following Bourque’s goal at 3:22 of the third period. Loiselle tied the game with a short-handed goal at 8:14 before Straka sealed the victory on the power play.

BAIE-COMEAU, Que. — Maxim Massé had two goals and two assists, Thomas Desruisseaux added one goal and three helpers and the Chicoutimi Sagueneens crushed the Baie-Comeau Drakkar 6-0.
Maxim Schäfer, Gryphon Watson-Bucci and Anton Linde also scored for Chicoutimi (10-2-1-2), while Raphael Précourt earned a 22-save shutout.
Lucas Beckman stopped 27 out of 33 shots he faced for Baie-Comeau (2-11-2-2).
